Today it rained so hard that when I was coming back from the school it felt as if we took a boat back. The water was so high up. Insane !!!

Alessandro Di Leonardo: “Sok Sebai !!! “ That is “How are you” in Khmer, the native language of the Cambodians. Did you know that 80 percent of Cambodians live in rural areas in wooden houses that are elevated by stilts? The stills provide refuge from flood waters in the rainy seasons, which occur a little more than half a year. I have been given a great opportunity to go to Cambodia and serve Christ this summer with the Navigators’ ministry, a non-profit Christian Mission Organization. I will be involved in different projects such as feeding the poor kids at a local church, teaching Arts & Crafts once a week out in the rural village and ,God willing, to share the Gospel. I hope to be a load-lifter for the Navigator missionaries and serve them as I am able. I am going to be there from June 16th to August 10th.
