This temple was my favorite, although I do not know its name. The temple was engulfed in tree roots. Pretty awesome.

Siem Reap ... Angkor Wat !!!

Angkor Wat is one of the seven ancient wonders. It is located in Siem Reap, Cambodia. It was originally a Hindu temple, later on converted to a Buddhist temple. There are many other temples around Angkor Wat. One of the coolest thing that you can see in Angkor Wat is the sunrise, where the temple's reflection can be seen in the body of water next to it. We woke up 3:30 AM to catch the sunrise. It was quite a sight !!!

Floating Village in Siem Reap !!!

Before visiting Angkor Wat, we decided to check out one of the Floating Villages. Basically, it is a village that is located in the middle of the river where the houses are floating on the water. It was quite a site to see. Pretty cool ...

Leaving for Siem Reap !!!

Here we are headed to Siem Reap, another large city besides Phnom Pehn. We are going there to visit Angkor Wat, a large ancient Hindu/Buddhist temple, also known as one of the 7 ancient wonders.

We left Phnom Pehn at 7:30 AM.

CRAFTS !!!

Today I started teaching crafts to the children as well as the staff in ACTS. I will be teaching there for the next 2 weeks and then the last 4 weeks that I am here in Cambodia, I move on to teaching in two different provinces, K. Spue and Takeo. Pray that I will be able to teach them something new ...

Youth Bible Study at Anlong Kngan

Today Vince led a Youth Bible Study at Anlong Kngan. It was very interactive. The youth, were so great. The age group ranged from 15 to 26 yrs old.

4th of July in Cambodia !!!

We decided that since it is 4th of July today, to do something special. We had Indonesian fried rice this morning and for dinner I made spaghetti and Vince made garlic bread. No fireworks unfortunately. Afterwards we played Taboo the game, apparently there are lots more rules that follow the game that I knew of... I guess next time I should read the rules ... lol

Rainy Season !!! (Part 2)

Today it rained so hard that when I was coming back from the school it felt as if we took a boat back. The water was so high up. Insane !!!
